Sculpting the Human Bust: Bringing Expression & Emotion to Life
Using fundamental hand-building techniques and just a few tools, you'll learn step-by-step methods to sculpt a human bust with personality and depth. From shaping facial features to defining the neck, shoulders and hair, this workshop will guide you in capturing emotion and expression in clay. We'll also explore surface techniques and firing/coloring techniques to enhance your piece. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced hand-builder, this fun and engaging creative process will leave you with a nearly finished, expressive sculpture to take home for firing.
